Crime author, Agatha Christie, wrote The Blue Geranium, as part of a series of short stories in The Thirteen Problems - (1932). As the story unfolds the victim, Mrs Pritchard was led to believe that a Fortune Teller warned her of certain blue flowers and that blue geraniums are amongst them. The name Blue Geranium as a Florist couldn't be more apt & original with its first home at the kiosk, 1a Fleet Street, Torquay, where a famous Fortune Teller, Madam Petulengro, once occupied it. As Torquay is the birthplace of Agatha Christie we feel that Blue Geranium is a perfect homage to the best selling Author in modern history. (Selling over 1.1 billion copies.)
